There you have it. The third chapter of my Hercules retelling, which shows the relationship between Hercules and his family, a short appearance from Daedalus and King Creon, a battle between the Cretan and Theban armies, the love between Meg and her father King Creon and Chiron coming into Thebes.

I know I said that I was planning on something else for this chapter, but I promise you...in the next chapter...yeah, I'll live up to my word.

And yes, I've sort of given Daedalus a look based on Tony Stark AKA Iron Man, also based Laonome's disdain for a Greek girl's purpose in life on My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I've based my Centaurs somewhat on the Centaurs from Narnia, the ponies from MLP: FiM, horses from the real world, and on Mesoamerican and Native American tribesmen.

And yes, I've sort of based Meg and Creon's father-daughter relation on both Triton and Ariel from the Little Mermaid and Belle and Maurice's from both versions of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

In the next chapter, Chiron states his purpose in Thebes and Hercules learns that he's a demigod. Will he take the news fondly or not? And when Meg offers to go with him, what will King Creon say?

Please read, review and suggest away.

That is a really good chapter so far. We got to see Hercules and megara Meeting each other and we get to see the tales of their fathers and the battle. Here’s to hoping that the next chapter will involve meeting their centaur mentor, Chiron. Update soon.
